When I was trying new things out just before the beginning of lockdown in 2020, I found a passion I had was for Chinese and Japanese traditional art and calligraphy. So I bought all of the so-called ‘four treasures’ for attempting some of it myself.
As the sakura should be blossoming around about now in Japan, I thought I would post a couple of my attempts and also of the Chinese art I attempted.
Done with inks and calligraphy brushes on rice paper.
